"Aux Chardonnerets", is a quiet farm in 18 acres of gardens and woodlands. It is situated 24 kilometres west of the medieval town of Cahors in the Lot department. "Aux Chardonnerets" is in the Quercy Blanc region, famous for its beautiful countryside, sunshine and small traditionally French farms.

Surrounding '"Aux Chardonnerets" there are numerous vineyards of the Cahors AOC wine. Visiting the many local Chateaux for some excellent wine tasting is a popular passtime.

Our farm is in the small hamlet of Mourgues, in the commune of Bagat-en-Quercy. Shops, restaurants, bars and most important services can be found either in Sauzet - 5km, or Montcuq - 7km. Montcuq is also famous for its traditional farm market every Sunday morning.
